Misk Art Institute formed a Residency initiative aiming to support the artistic development and practice of creatives, promoting the possibilities of meaningful exchange between the local community and the global cultural landscape. The program encourages creatives to engage critically with the theme of the cycle by providing them with access to dedicated studios, public program events, production support, and the showcase of new work. Masaha Residency is the in-house residency program located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The program is designed to cultivate the art sector through studio-based opportunities which aid in facilitating discourse, research, and experimentation around themes that concern the local community. Aya Mousawi & Co brought together a network of consultants to develop the strategic design and oversee the implementation of the first residency cycle.
